Camp weathered the winter really good! There was a few trees we had to remove, so we planted 30 more saplings all around camp.
The lake level is really up high for the beginning of the season. The water is approx. 6 to 8 inches shy of going into the boathouse.
The fishing has been great! The spawning is finishing up and they are coming out the sanctuary waters.
The walleyes this week May 27th, are being caught with jigs trolling in depths of approx. 12 feet around the humps.
The weather has been very cool up to date with very few real warm days in the 70's, that is the reason for the late spawn. We had a couple inches of snow May 16th, opening day of fishing! It was gone the next day though.
Thank you,
Mark and Brenda
