Thread: Good smallmouth lakes?

    Default Good smallmouth lakes?

    Hi guys

I am coming up next week (June 4) and am worried about the water levels in some of the lakes. Last year we could barely get our 16 foot boat in the water at our favorite lake. This year we are staying on Little St Germain in Vilas county, but we are very open to fishing better smallmouth lakes. Any suggestions for Vilas county? Even better if they have Muskies too, thanks.

What's the name of the lake and I'll let you know the water level...

For my money, if you want a combo of Smallies and Muskies, you can't go wrong on Trout Lake.
