Fishing is starting to pick up in every aspect. Crappies are moving shallow, walleyes are starting to spread out, and muskies are getting active.

Lake temps are anywhere from 60 to 62(main lake) to upper 60's in protected back bays. Bass are starting to make beds and are actually bedding on some smaller to medium sized lakes. I have had some real great days lately fishing these fun guys....got some nice fish up to 20''. I am using Husky Jerks, Gulp!, and Berkley Hollow Bellies.

Walleyes are starting to move into their weed patterns....look for fresh coontail and greening up cabbage...minnows are still working, however leeches will start producing(if they aren't already).

Muskies are starting to wake up too....fished lakes from small to larger the past couple of days....yes, they are cruising the shallows, but also using structure. Yesterday we boated 1 and had 1 strike, along with 15 other followers...Mostly swim baits and minnow baits where working for me.

    Good Luck!
