Caesar Creek Report 05/24
Took Jon Coomer and his ten year old son to Caesar Creek today, and what a great day on the water! It appears somebody finally hit a switch and woke up the muskies down there! The morning bite was incredible, as Jon caught a thirty-eight incher and missed another upper thirties incher right at boatside on the same white Super Stalker that has been pretty hot for moving fish lately. We saw four other nice follows, one well over forty inches, and we also watched Mike catch his three muskies with his son, which was neat! We saw George Weber catch and release a healthy forty-two incher close by, so it is safe to say that things are finally starting to happen!
Congrats to all who boated fish, and this thirty-eight incher was Jon's first ever Ohio muskellunge and his son Will tried to reel it in after the hook set but unfortunately, couldn't turn the reel handle!!! Thanks also to Jon for providing a great sandwich and a fun day on the water with his son!
