IMA Jake Wolf Memorial Tournament 2009

Fished the IMA Jake Wolf Memorial Muskie Tournament (IMTT) with my PMTT partner "Q" Carlson this past Saturday. Weather was sunny with clouds, cool and breezy. We ended up in 1st place and Big Fish with a 36" (10:30 am) and a 42" (11:20 am). Also, good friends of mine Ron H. and Wally P. boated a
38" around (10:50 am) from Bluff Lake for 2nd place. 3rd place was given as a raffle drawing. The significance with the times given was that Moonset was around 11:30 am on this day. These were the only fished registered for the event. Both of our muskies were caught by me and on the same bait (Rapala Glidin Shad) from Petite Lake. We had follows from 5 other muskies for the day; all of which were legal sized for the tournament. 18 teams participated. Great meal afterwards at the Thirsty Turtle concluded the event.
