    Question Catfish fun..or distraction?

Stopped at the Buckhorn Bridge late afternoon on Tuesday. Was kinda crowded in the middle so ended up floating crappie minnows off the southern end. Not even 2 minutes into it ..BAM! 16" catfish. Fun to catch. 3 more within the next half hour. Was a good time for stopping on the way from work.. or so I thought.
Walleye, Crappie, Bass are all great fishing. It appears from a few guys I talked to that Catfish are more of a distraction then a gamefish in these parts. Tell me it's not so!! Did I happen to talk to the only three guys who think that way, or should I put my catfish fry gear away?

Sorry, you can add me to the list. I just don't like their taste and looks.

They are fun to catch, but they are catch and release for me.

    Default Fun!

Well, at least you agree they are fun to catch. Kinda like a log that swims. It could be that cats from the Tennessee river system taste differant then these. I'll mark you down for 'fun', so I don't feel alone
