Lac Vieux Desert 5/6
The lake level is up atleast 5-6" since our 18" of wet heavy snow the end of last month and some small beneficial rains. From the WVIC.com website, lake level measurement as of 5/3 is at 1680.36' with a target level at 1680.73'. These numbers are referencing feet above sea level as measured at the dam. Water temp is 56.3* measured two feet down in 5 fow. Mostly post spawn male 'eyes are currently hitting mainly minnows, with crawlers and leeches starting to become a little more preferred. No problem finding the northerns to feed, but panfish are still a bit sluggish.
