Hey Tanner would you change up your tactics during opener to target trophies vs. keepers?

Yeah usually a good rule of thumb that I have found out on most lakes is fish deep for the numbers of fish, and shallow for the trophies. for shallow I like fishing shallow weeds and rocks with stickbaits, usually the bigger fish will be more aggressive. in the deep water fish cribs, river channels, and breaklines or mud flats for the numbers of fish. this is just a guide line not set in stone, I have alot of time found numbers of fish in the weeds and big fish in the deeper water. hope this helps you out .

    Good luck,
