End of April Fishing Report 4/27/2009
There have been some interesting weather this spring. Almost 90 one day and snow on the ground the next. It has hampered our fishing a little, which I guess would be somewhat normal for spring fishing.
The walleyes are in the middle of the spawn. There is fish being caught on the rocks in Chamberlain. There is also limits being caught in the Carpenter Bluffs area and from Kiowa to the dam. Some days you have to go through quite a few fish to get your limit, but that is part of the fun. We are also starting to catch some fish on bottom bouncers.
Within the next few days I will have our photo section updated so you can see some of our limits caught this spring. Pictured is a couple of Trophy Walleye (8 and 9lb fish) caught on April 18th and 21st. There was also a 10lb caught that weekend. I do not have access to that picture right now or I would post that one too.
