HUGE FAT Lake Trout Boated

Was out on Weds last week and water temps are still in the 36-38 degrees. Did Boat a huge Fat Lake trout on a pink X Rap on the surface in a pocket of warm Water.
She was 36" 25 lbs.
If anyone is interested in going after Cohos, Browns & lake Trout this spring, it is some of the best fishing.
The water temps are slowly warming up and the fish are all on the surface, you just need to know and find the warmer water pockets.
The key is Find warm water pockets find Fish,
The smelt should be running this week so the Coho fishing should be getting better & better!

I have been catching Cohos everyday out.

Nice fish Dustin! A friend of mine caught a 34" sconnie strain off park point while fishing lakers recently..who says they don't like cold water?!
