    That is another technique that I will be working on this year. I already use it a little with my streamer presentations. Cannot wait to chug some poppers through Esox territory.

    Man, it just amazes me sometimes how "fishy" these flies can look with certain actions. I sometimes find myself admiring the action when I'll notice a following fish and its too late! Thats one great thing I am learning about Musky, they sure know how to teach you a lesson. Unfortunately, some of us (ME) need to repeat the lesson a few times before it sinks in!! LOL

    Wicked winds have kept the flyrods in the car the last couple of times out. However, I am now focusing on the Musky and not so much the Pike. I am telling myself that my hookset practice has me prepared for the "Beast", so we'll see where that leaves me. Now I just need to find those blasted fish!!! LOL
