Thumbs up St. Croix Sling Blade

My new sling blade was sitting on my porch when I got back from VA so I had to get out and give it a few test casts yesterday. Very impressive rod that loads nicely for chucking big blades but I will use it primarily for jerks, glides, twitch baits as well as Curly Sues. At 8'6" with a rating of 2-6 ounces, it is going to be the most versatile rod I own.

I put one of my new Luna 300L's on it........Now, I just have to get better at this "other arm" retrieving since my left elbow has had tendonitis since November. It is very weird fishing with the right arm after 30 years with the left.

    Thumbs up

Got my new Slingblade out for test run yesterday too. Very impressive! Handled the big Mag Dawg very well and that's about the heaviest bait I throw. Also had my gliders dancing quite seductively. I'm very happy with it.
