I was perusing the list and it looks like TFF is one of the few that has a 3 fish limit. Most are still 2

Does anyone know what the walleye limit is on the Flambeau River between the TFF and Park Falls? Also, does the season for walleye on the Flambeau River begin on May 2nd also?

    fishwhisperer:

I can certainly speak to the Flambeau being open after May 2 and that answer is yes. If there are no regs specific to the body of water usually the 'eye limit 5 at 15". That is speaking just off the top of my head though, you may want to consult the Iron/Price/Ashland county info in the middle of the fishing regs: http://www.dnr.state.wi.us/fish/regu.../hookline.html

    Default Thanks Everyone

Thank you for all of the replies. I appreciate your help. I'm planning on putting a couple of lines in the water on opening weekend, and I just wanted to make sure that I was doing things by the book. It's getting harder to find time to read the book! Well, maybe I'll see some of you on the water or at Donner's Bay opening weekend, so that I can put some faces to names. Could everyone please wear name tags this summer, so that I can figure out who everyone is?! Just kidding. Thanks again!

I will be at Donner's that weekend. Hopefully picking up cash for the longest walleye!

Is there going to be a contest at Donners for the longest fish on opening day, cut off time will be?. I have always enjoyed their end of season contest very enjoyable . I can't come up for the opener as of right now, not always looking to do that either, to many people and to little respect for those on the water. FYI, but for those that can get there, enjoy it, it is wonderful.

    Thanks George!

I've been watching the weather up there and am a little curious, Is there any ice left on the TFF, and has the water level risin any. If so is it close to the norm? Thank You For Any & All Imput-
