Yeah, I noticed that too, on MODIS; looks like the "south sea" as I like to call it, is getting grey. The weather forecast this week is 50's and sunny. I'm thinking maybe by this weekend we'll have ice out.

    Default It's going fast

Fluffy and I were out ice fishing in front of our house. The ice was 16 inches and came up out of the holes in chunks. The holes were very irregular and wobbled out. I don't think it'll be safe much longer. I agree with Randy, the ice could go out by the coming weekend. Can wait, brought the boat home Saturday, now we need the dock and lift in and we'll be all set......

If you set the color on the Modis to false color you get an even better contrast of the area around beaver flats

Our floating docks remain in all year, but are pulled into shore for the winter. This weekend they were rocking back and forth with water open about 10 feet from the shore in Lake Bastine. The water level has raised slightly, but we still need some rain. Scott www.flambeauvista.com

    Gus,

As Scott mentioned, TFF water level was -3.1 feet from full-pool of 1572' above sea level.

Check link below - this data is updated on a weekly basis.
