Ice Out!

Lots of ice melting in the last couple days, the smaller lakes have opened up and the medium sized lakes are going fast. Yesterday Big McKenzie was about half open and half ice covered, Shell Lake was all frozen as of this morning. The diehards are still out on whats left of the ice out on the Yellow River Flowage. All but a few lakes should be ice free by Easter Sunday night.

Ice out update: Big Mac and the Yellow River Flowage are now ice free. Yellow and Little Yellow still have ice. Shell still has ice. Trego is open. All small to mid sized lakes have open water.

Shell Lake's ice went out the night before last. No ice anywhere around here.
