    Default Lowrance/Lakemaster chip

Hey guys just ordered a couple new Lowrance locators/GPS units for my boat along with the lakemaster chips. My question is if you have longitude and latitude points already available are you able to plug those into the locators/GPS units with the chip ahead of time and make a waypoint without being on the actual spot on the lake?

If I remember correctly you can...I dont remember the exact way to do it but I think you can scroll the cursor to different points and just add waypoints...or you can check out this free program and play around with it...

This one looks pretty bad ass too...you can put notes down, so that means you know exactly what time, day, lure, weather...everything you need to help replicate a strike or catch...and that's going to help you put a lot more muskies in the boat!

Thanks Snizz. The reason I ask is for example the Lake Master paper map has like 55 waypoints on it with longitude and latitude listed for each waypoint and even though most of the spots i know it would be nice to enter these into the Locator/GPS before I am even on the water so i don't have to mess with it while I am out there. Plus it would give a nice reference point for certain bars/humps/breakpoints/etc...
