    Default thurs. 3-26-09

Went out thursday,no muskie bites or follows.Water temps 56 to 58 degrees. I spotted what i thought was one big muskie( about 48 inches), threw at it and fish did not move. I trolled up to it close, so close trolling motor almost hit it! Then i saw 2 fish one underneath the other in about 2 feet of water. The other was about 40 inches long. We left them alone and decided to go bass fishing. We got into the bass, caught 13 bass in about 40 minutes by boxcar. Would like to have stayed longer but lost my batteries.

    Default bass yes!

I have 2 favorites for 55 to 62 degree weather. Normans classic deep baby n series white. They dont make white anymore, I buy 3 at a time and repaint them. The second is a sebile swimbait, white also. They are not cheap, could cost u alot of money around Muskies, lost 3 to them last year! I was using sebile with small steel leader (just in case) thursday. Any other ?, feel free 2 ask.
