    Default Bulldawgs for 2009

I have yet to see the "new" bulldawgs for 2009. Rumor has it that Musky Innnovations beefed up their 2009 dawgs and will not fall apart on the first cast or snag......is anyone using the new ones??

It is going to be tough for me to switch from the Curly Sue's back to the dawgs until I hear some input.

    Red,

I picked up some of the new Bulldawgs and Prodawgs at the Columbus show. They are a great improvement over the old plastic. I haven't used them a lot but so far so good. I really like the Prodawgs with the flexible harness at the back. This was usually where I had problems with the old Bulldawgs and some Super Ds. I have some more of the Prodawgs ordered from muskytackleonline.com. They will be getting them in sometime in April. You could contact Aaron to see if he has some that are not already preordered. Not sure if you have ever used this site or not but the service is the best and his prices are better than the larger dealers. I placed an order Monday and it was at my house yesterday, amazing turnaround. Also free shipping if you order more than $50 worth, so I always make sure my orders are over $50

    Thanks for the info.

I have spoken with Aaron a couple of times. He (or his wife, I cannot remember) is originally from PA....nice guy. I do like his service with the free shipping.

I've got a few of the 6" bull dawgs and several of the smaller micro dawgs that I just got in. I've been playing with them quite a bit over the last few trips and they seem like a slight improvement over previous models

    Hi Red,

We've done business. But you must be confusing me with someone else. No wife here and I've lived my entire life in MN. Someone that knows me here pointed this thread out to me and thought I should chime in!

And Reed, thanks for the mention, I appreciate it. The Pro Dawgs should be arriving in the next few weeks. I'm hoping MI changes their mind. But if not, what I have coming will be all that's available until 2010. I had a chance to check them out last weekend at the MN show and it's easy to tell the difference in the plastic when you touch and feel these things. A very nice improvement!

Sorry Aaron. I had my wires crossed. I remember talking on the phone to some tackle dealer from the Midwest that somehow had ties to the Western PA area. I guess it wasn't you.

    Thanks for clearing it up.

I ordered and received my lures in 2 days. Thanks Aaron. I'm really excited to try them out.
