Fishing is pretty good right now on area lakes. Crappies and bluegills are biting good, the action hasn't been really hot yet, but if you stick with it you'll get your fish. Good fishing should continue as long as we have good ice, the ice is fine still but shorelines in a few areas are begining to look a little suspect. It's been warm here and most of our snow is gone, for now.
I've been seeing lots of deer moving during the day, in bunches. Lots of turkeys out and about too. Small flocks of geese are now common, and yesterday I saw two robins. Spring is coming!
