Sorry for the lack of updates on the ice fishing scene. Truthfully I haven't been out nearly as much as I'd like to. We had a wicked cold spell hit us in mid-January and it didn't really leave until March rolled around. In the meantime I've been busy with current projects and getting everything set up for the upcoming open water season! I must say I'm more than ready for open water, and very excited to be sharing the boat with many of you again!

Friday some friends and I decided to venture out to Ontario to spend a day chasing Whitefish and Tullibee. Can't say we were disappointed with probably 75 fish popping up through the holes during the day. The size was impressive as well, with many fish over the 24" mark and the biggest one of the day taping out to the 26" mark! Also, we had one member of the party ice his first whitey, which he clearly thought was quite a thrill!

I'll have a few more pictures to post as I get them sent to me!
