Think what you're missing though. Those pretty chartruese 'blizzard'colors on the national map and those winds gusting to 45mph.

Just a little bump in the road! Think of the advantages.......once it all melts, you can drive your boat to the lake instead of pulling it to the landing and then launching it!

    The glass is 1/2 full!!!!!
    Thanks,

Ah heck Frankie,no sweat now, they've taken you off the 20 inch bubble. You're only in the 8-14 inch range now.Was gonna send Big and Rascal to help out with the shoveling but won't bother now.
They were just outside here widening/pushing back snow in parts of the driveway so we can hopefully get out about wednesday.
Can always be worse.A hunting friend from here decided today would be a good day to haul his boat in to get some work done on it.On the way he realized it was slick and treacherous(freezing rain)and decided to turn around at the next intersection and head home.Got there and there was a major accident. He pulled off on the crossroad in time to see a lady coming down that road loose control and slide into his truck=2 totalled vehicles.Thankfully no serious injuries.AND,his boat was undamaged.

So, there is an oval race track here in ole Machesney Park IL, been there for 25 years I guess. About 8 years ago, they started building houses right accross the street. Those that moved in after the racing season were a bit suprized by the fowl noise coming from the track for hours every Wednesday and Saturday night. Heck, I live 5 miles away and can hear the cars when the windows are open. They tried to close the track down..... go figure.

Old people move to Florida, and b i t c h about the heat....... go figure.

So Dick, what's your point..... I'm missing it der buddy......

Atta boy Dick, I knew you weren’t a whiner. I’m probably the only one around here that likes the snow…. more the better.

Frank, I think he likes the snow too, better than mud.

Right now, yes. When it melts, you won't believe the yard. Mud is an understatement
