    Ty,

I was going to ask you about this bait at the Milwaukee show and then Frazier started talking about fishing sucker rods out of Okauchee and derailed my train of thought.

So what do you know about them? Are they a neutrally buoyant bait? Wouldn't they be a good post-cold front bait if you can control the speed that they can be worked at?

I think I'd stick with a Red October Tube. I've seen the Jimmy bait in the water and it's not for me. I know some that have used them and caught fish but they probably would have caught fish on Bulldawgs or Red October Tubes just the same. I think there are a lot of bait manufacturers that are coming out with baits just to get people to buy baits rather than innovate. I just like the Red October Tubes better. Personal preference is all. I really like Bulldawgs so this isn't a rip on Musky Inovations.

As far as when to use them, mostly after a cold front and in the fall. You can catch fish anytime on them though so don't only throw them at those times.

    Thanks Ty.
I'll have to see if I can find some Red Octobers.

Thorne Brothers and Rollie and Helens have them. There is a really good segment in Gregg Thomas's video on tubes also.

I have a few of the Red October Tubes available right now at Musky Tackle Online at pretty steep discounts. I'm trying to blow out most or all of my current stock. (Twisted Tubes as well) They're great baits. But they're changing the rigging system on the new ones, so this is the reason for the discount on my current stock. Only a few colors left in stock right now. But you can't go wrong with the price. If you have your mind set on a certain color that I'm out of, you can check with the retailers that Ty mentioned. And I will also be getting the new ones in before too long.

And as an FYI on the new rigging system. They will be making them with a rear/stinger treble hook on the Monster and Ninja Tubes. The Twisted will also have a treble there, as well as one near the head. This should go over very well as many people were buying them and re-rigging them this way themselves.
