Eel Pout Next Week End

The winter event of the season begins next Friday in Walker. The ice is in good driving condition and it should be a great time as usual. Come join in the fun. Maybe take a dip in the Polar plunge. Or just take in the sights. Eat some fried pout at the city park.

Hopefully the weather will be good and we can get over from ND! So how does Floyd's barbershop catch so many Pout? Does anyone fish the main lake for Pout? ie the Paris trench or deepwater around BigRock reef? Just looking for a new spot to get away from the crowds and catch a ling or two..

A lot of snow has melted and driving should be pretty good. However you know the rules, no ice is safe. 4 wheelers are fun during the eel pout but beware there is heavy law enforcement on duty, no DUI's please.
