    Default rattle bite question

In Tony's seminars, he describes the springtime rattlebait bite as being most effective between two temp. ranges. I've misplaced my notes, does anyone recall what those temps were? thanks, m

    Talking rattle bite

Mikie I think the temps would be 50 to 60 degree I do know things really crank up when water temps reach 52 so i would asume anywherte in between would be good .Now im not say you cant sling traps in colder water and catch fish because at that time of year they will be there to feed so dont count out feb. in the later days ive seen some real pigs come from the cave in feb.Any time the weather permits is really ok to be fishing hope i was able to help.....Joseph Cornett

I'll be down there in a couple of weeks, does any know what the water temps are? Also are any fish being caught?

    Default Temps & Reports

Water temps range from 40 to 44 degrees depending on areas of the lake. I know of a few fish caught over the weekend but some boats scored nothing. Look for it to pick up after the next coldfront passes
