Good reports today (Friday) on walleyes from the Spirit Flowage and Mohawksin. Nice Walleyes with several limits caught. Sizes from legal up to 22 inches. On the Spirit Flowage these fish were caught in 6 feet of water and the best action was still on smaller suckers. Keep the bait about 12 inches off the bottom.
Mohawksin anglers found the fish deep and tight to the bottom. Med size shiners or Tuffies caught some very nice fish. Good bite late morning hours.
Cold weather this weekend with highs around 4 degree's with 35 mph wind gusts. Warm up the Shanty!!

I didn't know that there was 6' of water left in the Spirit. How do you think this years draw down will effect the fishing this spring and summer?
