    Default Walleye fishing remains good!

Walleyes are still biting on the big lake. It is still pretty much an evening bite. Travel on the lake is still very tough with deep snow and some slush. I used my snowmobile to get to my house. Minnow heads and small jigging spoons seem to be the best offering. There is some vehicle traffic in Walker Bay close to shore. Many house are showing up in the area in front of the Chase. So the Eel Pout festival should go on as scheduled. No official word yet but I would plan on it.

    Default Walleyes and Pike

Our house is over 17 feet of water. We are catching walleyes, pike, perch and some eel pout. The whole food chain is present. We are near a break line on a large flat.
