    Default Kegonsa Perch

    Hit the Keg today.
Marked fish in 28 fow but no takers.
    Lookers and nibblers.
Do not know what the deal is-are they full?
Old-timer said I was on the spot where he got a dozen BIG ones last week.
    Checked other spots-NADA.
Skunked for the first time this year.

that's a very pecular lake...I live in that area and have fished that lake on and off for years. once in a "blue moon",a person can go out to the "last week" spots and hammer some really nice ones. But,My luck,if you will...consists of maybe 2...and then as you say, just lookers and nibblers..
It is a very under rated lake as far as fish population..I normally do most of My line soaking there in spring and fall but there are some dandy fish in that lake!

    Default perch solutions

hunt2labs , i am curious if you have been using pencil sinkers? my buddy said he put on a split shot way up and it made a huge difference. instead of lookers he got some to stink up the oil.
    good luck - toolroom

I did get rid of the pencil sinkers.
I also know a man who has been out there with an Aqua View who has tried everything. Just lookers for the most part.
He has hit the Keg for perch for days and days.
Next on my list is trout flies in a scud or shrimp pattern.
They did well for gills on Waubesa.
