Crow Lake ice conditions are good, we have a lot of snow, but it is getting packed down with trails. There is some slush but nothing unusual for ice fishing. Lake of the Woods, has not been fished hard yet, and there is slush going out to Hay and when you get off the ice road in town on Gordy's ice road there is some slush. We are getting cold weather at night and things are freezing up.

Fishing has been great on Crow Lake, catching trout today in 15-18 ft of water in caro weeds and grass, you could see the bottom. They are using white, and glow tube jigs about 4 inches, where ever there were perch minnows you found trout. You go to three or four spots until you find that spot that you will spend the day catching trout.

The ice road at Gordy's is open out at Cycone or you can go over to our launch on Stevens Bay on Lake of the Woods off the landing or out at Hay.

Rumor has it that some are catching Walleye out at Hay.
