Ice Road Update

Leg two of the ice road was completed to Flag Island today. If all goes well, we should be plowed to Oak in a few days.

Do you know if they will be plowing to Sunset? Would be nice as it is close to our cabin, but I have doubts.

I would seriously doubt it. As far as I know, that place is history. Unless the bank wants a road in for some reason.

Plowed to Mergen's Point today. Maybe mañana if the weather cooperates.

Saw the plow buzzing by just now. Has not made the turn to us yet, but I would say we are good for Christmas day, when the first guys are due in.

Got it plowed to us. Not too pretty yet. The transmission fried on the truck with the straight plow today, so Duane's scrambling to get that back into service.

All our signs are in, so you'll have no trouble finding me.

So how does how this ice road work ? Can we drive our truck to your place with a sled in back to go on from there, we are talking about it with gas so cheep we just want to drive!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yep. You can drive out here just like the Kennedy Expressway. And much smaller waves than your July trip last year!
