    Default Windjigger tip up advice???

    Just orderd a couple of the HT Windjigger tip ups, wondering if anyone has any and what they think of them. Any advice or info on them would be great.Thanks

    Are those anything like the HT Windlass? Is so they work well with jigging spoons and other baits with an added blade attractor. I've used them with success with jigging Raps and Salmos, I add a minnow head on the belly hook for scent.

    Yes, they are actually the windlass ones I bought, I miss spelled. Thank you very much for the info, atleast they seem like they will be worth the money.

    I was never a big fan of them. Seems like whenever I get to go fishing it's either too windy or there's no wind at all.

    That's true about limited use due to excess wind. Too much wind will topple them or pin them down and too little wind and you may as well use a tip up or jig. But.. when the wind is right they are great.
