Hit Tippy and James one last time this past Saturday and came up with nothing but a nice day on the water before ice up. Located a large school of baitfish on James but still brought me zero activity. Ran nothing but suckers at various depths along the breaks. I've had good luck in the past with the hulcano sucker rig, but did'nt get to set the hook. Three or four other boats out and didn't see or hear of any other action. This pre freeze musky fishing sure can be slow if not outright non-existent at times.

Was shocked to see that boats decided to break through the ice on both Barbee and Webster. I drove by and the lake was basically completely covered with ice. Either these guys don't value their boats or the action was incredible.
