    Default Sled

This message is kind of directed to the Lee bros, but please jump in where appropriate...I am looking to find information on the giant pull-behind sled you use for ice-fishing. It looks like a huge jet-sled with a cover. Any info. on where I could find one?

The sled that I use is made by Otter Outdoors. They are sold @ Fleet Farm, Gander Mtn., Sportsman Warehouse. In don't know for sure but Naomi @ Bayshore or Chris AKA The Baitshop Guy may have them also. The ones that I have are the Medium Otter and you can buy covers, hitches, seats, and even the shanty for them. They are a little spendy but as far as I am concerned they are the best on the market. That is my opinion others may have others ones that they like.

Good Luck and Tightlines to All.

    Capt. Steve is out.

    Default sled

Hey Ben, nice to hear from you. Sounds like you guys are getting some pretty good snow down there. That said, I'm not sure what sled you are talking about as we don't have a sled with a cover. The biggest sled we have is the biggest that Otter makes ( http://www.otteroutdoors.com/sleds/xlarge1160.html ). But it does not have a cover. Very handy though. I think I have hauled out 4 guys in it before with ease. That said, we should have ice before too long if the weather forecast holds true. I can hardly wait! Should be a great year...

We don't carry sleds, (they take up too much room in our little shop.) We can order them, but the larger models are too big to be shipped UPS. You would be better off going through a larger chain like Gander or Cabela's for those.

    All,
Thank you for the information. Kevin, I thought I saw a big 'ole sled in one of your ice fishing pictures, and that's what prompted me to ask about it. Hope all is well, althoug, how can't it be in God's country! My group and I will be taking advantage of the later closing date in March this year. We will definitely be stopping in...

    ICE ON, LET'S GO!
