We have heard that Cherokee Marsh has 2-4" of ice, & fishing has been decent, with a few limits of Bluegills and Crappies. Fish size runs from 6-9" on the Bluegills, & Crappies from 8-11". Mendota and Univ. Bay are wide open. Lake Monona is open, but Monona Bay has just skimmed over with ice. Lake Waubesa and Kegonsa are also still open. There have been reports of guys fishing on the ice up at the Grade on Lake Wisconsin. We also heard there are guys fishing on Fox Lake in Beaver Dam, no reports.
