Tomahawk Icefishing Report 11/26/2008
Anglers are starting to venture out onto the ice now, and most bays have 3 to 4 inches of ice.
Use caution as the ice thickness does very, the channel areas are not safe.
Good reports on bluegills and perch, not much to report on crappies as of today. Use grubs for bait and a purple and pink jig.
Walleye action after dark remains strong, fish shallow and suckers seem to their favorite bait.
Pike action all day long with the common 22 to 24 inch size. Use Large shiners or suckers. Set up in 4 feet of water and set the bait at 2 feet, lots of fun!!
Not much to report on Catfish.
Good Luck
