Thread: She's A Froze......Again

    Default She's A Froze......Again

It happened last year, and surprise, it happened again. Went to bed with water, and woke up with the lake all white and hard. No comments Dennis. Forecast is to the good side of borderline, but I think she'll stay.

Let's hope for cold and no snow for a week or two, and get this party started!

Here's the view of the lake from my deck this morning. As you can see, it's a bit cloudy.

Oh man, I am getting the boat back from the shop today. Frank did'nt you do the run the hot water trick or do donuts all night in you bay to try to keep it open for a while. Now i got to try to find some other place that is open to fish bummer.

    What was the problem????

Somehow, I'd bet the ice fishing guys think you are being selfish with the lake. You had it for six months!

With your new found passion for the golden carp, maybe you should buy a short rod.

TPS censor, at least that is what they said. Do you know anyone who wants to by a great boat that catches a lot of "fish". I can't even begin to tell ya how many walleye we had in there this fall.

Think that boat has any fish catching left in her? I thought you already caught them all.

It's a great boat, anyone would be happy to have. Why not post it here?

Now I expected these types of comments from Dennis, but not you two guys. Say it's not so. Also, goes away with the first trip to the necessary room. Now there's a choice!

Day two of the ice. Actually that skim was about an inch yesterday. Find out later what she put on last night. I would guess another inch. I can see some cracking from the shore, so I would think she's making ice like crazy, and put on another inch.

Rockpt made a copy of the webcam yesterday, pretty awesome picture, and here it is.

I get that, you use that one pretty often. Only point here, I never hear Pearson making that statement, makes you wonder.......

Default Dick Pearson- worm in a hole....

I can take that statement several ways, one is very-very good and one is very, very bad. Maybe Dick will clarify for us all (all over the fishing world that is, heck and globe for that matter). Wonder if Betsy is doing damage control while Dick is out doing just plain ole damage.....

An old Indian fishing guide in Canada once told me that there are three rules to remember when you turn 40.

    1) Treat every fart as if it’s liquid
    2) Any piece is a good piece
    3) Never let an erection go to waste because it could be you’re last.

I figure those Indian guides are full of wisdom so I don’t fret anymore when I wake up to hard and white and I certainly don’t let the opportunity go to waste.

So get the jig poles ready Frank!

'White and hard' ,I refuse, considering our Prez elect,to participate in any discussion with racial overtones.

View of the lake yesterday. Today's version was way too cloudy to see anything.

    Hey Brett,

That’s the problem….no need for the blue pills! It’s like those inflatable yard decorations….a new holiday every morning!

    Happy Thanksgiving Brett!
