Default Can't give in - winterize question

We have been out the last couple of weekends with no boated fish. It is supposed to be 40 and sunny this Saturday down by us.

Should we just hang it up for the year, or go out on the nice day?

Main reason for the post. Does it hurt a 4 stroke motor to sit in an unheated garage with the temps dipping below freezing and not having in winterized yet?

I truely feel this may be the last trip of the year, but just wanted to make sure that we are not damaging the motor. My brother is getting concerned, and also worried about my mental state.

I've never had trouble with them sitting in the cold for a few days. I would get out while you can.

    Ryan,

As long as you drop the motor down to drain it dry after you use it you should be just fine. As Ty said " Do it while you can". It's a long winter.
