The losing streak continues for my boat as the net stayed dry once again. Eddie had an upper-30’s fish come in very tight but seemed to lose sight of the bait on the (super tight) first turn around 8:30. After being teased with some sunny skies during the early morning, the next round of clouds/wind/drizzle moved in and shut things down for us. We quit around 1pm and after seeing the deteriorating forecast for today, we decided to push Sunday’s trip into November.

The river was bumped up for a couple of days but is heading back down today. Lots of floating debris became a hassle as the winds picked up during the day. Water temps are in the 65 degree range and continue to drop during this cool spell.

Stay tuned and good luck!
