We went looking for muskies but could only find pike on Sunday. The largest was in the 35” range. Things were very slow most of the day but we had a solid 2 hour window in the morning when most of our action happened. We did have a mystery fish smack Dan’s fly but we couldn’t get confirmation on the species.

The water is still low and hasn’t really moved much over the past 5 months. The amount of vegetation that has grown in the river this year is the most I have seen in the past 31 years. Water temps are in the 70 degree range both north and south of Warren.

We will be back at it next weekend chasing muskies both days.

Stay tuned and good luck!
