Big Mike and Little Mike climbed in the boat hoping to catch a big musky or pike on Wednesday morning. After fishing thru some thick early-morning fog, Big Mike had a real nice musky follow up but decided to stay deep during the 8. I could barely see it before she decided to sink back into the depths. A couple hours later, Big Mike had a another fish come in shallow but spooked as soon as it saw the boat. We quit around 11:30 with another dry net.

Low, clear water sure makes things tough to convert at boatside. Welcome to the dog days of summer.

We will hunt muskies again on Friday morning. It sure would be nice to get someone to eat our baits. The frustration continues!

Stay tuned and good luck!
