We decided to give it a shot in the muddy river yesterday. Zero muskies hit the bag and we are not sure if we had any follows due to poor water clarity. The cold front was real and there was very little surface activity. We decided to reschedule today’s trip so things can clear up and avoid the smokey haze in the process.

Tomorrow, we will chase muskies on the fly. Kinzua outflow is currently in the 1000 cfs range. I bet the wade fisher-people are enjoying the low water in the trout section.

I guess it is time to put on the gas mask and hit the golf course today.

Stay tuned and good luck!
