Walleye action continues to be very good, a little scattered but on a good bite. River channel edges are holding a decent amount of eyes, mostly on the smaller side, but an occasional decent one. Shallow water wood, and or weeds are starting to produce some nice eyes along with pike and jumbo perch. Some nice eyes are still being taken from shoreline boulders, but usually the best when a good wind is blowing into them. Invasion jigs tipped with extra large fatheads or mud minnows are working great, will be trying crawlers today in hopes of getting more perch.
