Fox Chain 11-13-2008

I fished the Fox Chain from 9am to 1pm on Thursday, pretty slow day I worked two suckers and casted gilders; not much going on, from 11am to 1pm I switched to trolling, that was also slow until 15 minutes before it was time to head in, I heard the drag scream out of 27 feet of water, the lure was running 10 feet down I had a really good fight from a muskie I estimated it to be around the 47 inch mark, I got to see the head and some of the body, as the muskie came closer to the boat I noticed it was barely hooked, one surface thrash and I lost it, very disappointing. but that's fishin.
