    My largest walleye ate a 10-inch jerkbait while musky fishing.

    Interesting article. I also think the opposite happens pretty often. The biggest musky I’ve ever seen from my boat was a springtime 50+ female that hit a 3 inch fur jig that was never landed but fun while it lasted. My personal best just shy of 50 was caught on a 6 inch jig. Matching what the fish will eat is part of the fun and I’m never surprised by what actually works.
