I'm hearing from our guests fishing is slow at this time but they are bring in some, no slush reported as in January. 22" of ice most everywhere except some reported that around cedar island it was mostly 18" of ice. Pike Bay fishermen have reported better fishing, and more roads maintained.

Keeping up with the blown shut roads is a real task this winter. some of the accesses like the public off hwy 2 and the other north by tom's old resort have blown shut and no one is maintaining them.

The snow is wicked hard for plowing any new roads, but a must as the old roads have banks of 4'+ and can't get the new blown snow above them. Wind again this morning is closed our road and we had to do a rescue for an early bird that tried to get out before we could open them up again.
