I haven't been out much the past few days but I did troll a smaller Spooner area lake this afternoon for muskies. A friend of mine and I spent a couple hours trolling 9" Gramma's and 10 " Jakes. The air temps were in the mid 20's and a good wind made it pretty chilly out there, I had a surface temp of 42 degrees. The only action we had today was one strike on a purple Gramma, that fish I had on for a few seconds before it got off. The weather forecast for this week is looking like it'll be cold. We may see ice on some of the smaller waters soon.

Good luck and good fishing,
Jim Stroede
