We went looking for muskies again on Wednesday. 2 (very nice) pike is all we could get in the net. We did not see a musky all day. After hour number 3, we noticed river levels were dropping for a change which added some pesky leaves to the equation. The bright skies and very clear water did us no favors either.

River temps are still a little warmer than usual north of Warren. The temps southbound instantly dropped as a result of the reduction in outflow discharge.

I will likely take a few days off while the winter blast arrives later tonite. It is time to finish off the last of the leaf blowing and some final winter preparations around the house. Fun times.

Happy Thanksgiving and stay tuned!
