Saturday’s water level was 14,000. Summertime water level is around 1400. The river is really flowing and plenty of leaves to make things more interesting. I do like the higher flows (sometimes) just for the challenge. When you can find fish, there are usually clusters of them in certain areas but getting your lure to those specific spots consistently is the fun part.

I netted several nice bass and walleye after spending a couple hours looking for toothies but not seeing any of them. My new batteries worked great. I was able to use the anchor feature for 6+ hours and still had 75% battery life.

Today, we will fish (cast) Tionesta looking for muskies. It’s going to be another pretty day but not sure if the bright sun will get the fish fired up. We shall see.
