We fished a 10-mile stretch of flooded river yesterday until my trolling motor batteries died and had a pretty good day of catching. We almost hit the “Quad” after catching bass, walleye and pike but Ken couldn’t keep his musky buttoned up on his smaller swimbait.

Water temps ranged between 58 and 61 depending on location. I spoke with the Corp of Engineers on Saturday morning before we launched and he said the river outflow will be increased again around 9am today……get ready for more floating debris. We are going to fish a few different areas today and see what happens.

Good luck and stay tuned!
