Saturday was a stay-at-home workday getting things ready for winter snow removal and yard mowing/leaf blowing.

Sunday was another pretty tough grind while chasing walleye, bass and trout. We netted 3 legal walleye and 4 decent bass in 6 hours of fishing. No toothy sightings at all. Once again, we did not see a trout either. The trout fishing is so much more difficult than it was just a few years ago. Hopefully, the PFBC increases our trout stocking numbers and gets the Trophy Trout section back to where it once was.

River temps are still in the low-60’s which is still pretty warm for late-October. As the temp drops into the 50’s, we should see an uptick in catches of all species. Fingers crossed.

It looks like we will see another increase in river levels coming mid-week and more rain in the forecast over the next 10 days.

Good luck and stay tuned!
