We had another solid morning chasing smallies with artificial lures. The bite was slow-ish between 6 and 7 but picked up considerably over the next few hours. Sizes ranged from 10 to 19.5 inches. We lost several short-striking fish as well. We also got a bonus pike. No accidental walleye or muskies. Water temps had cooled a little due to storm runoff and some cooler air temps.

I am kinda getting the itch to chase some river muskies on Sunday evening or Monday morning if I get my yard work completed.

Stay tuned and good luck!
